MANUP is a non-denominational, Jesus-centered men's ministry founded in Austin TX with a global impact. For over a decade, we’ve been connecting men with God and other men through Bible study groups, community events, weekend retreats, free online content and pastoral care.

After years of exponential growth, we're hiring a full-time Connections Pastor to . . .

• LEAD the charge for Bible study groups, community events, weekend retreats.
• BUILD systems and teams to expand our local and global reach.
• EQUIP leaders to start new groups and care for their men.

LEAD.

LEAD THE CHARGE FOR BIBLE STUDY GROUPS, COMMUNITY EVENTS, AND WEEKEND RETREATS.

• Bible Study Groups
  The Connections Pastor is responsible for starting, leading, and equipping Bible study groups for men here in Austin and around the world. Our FREE curriculum provides a turn-key solution for churches, ministries, and leaders to start a Bible study group for men . . . anytime, anywhere. The primary way we build community is through our Bible study groups that gather at the table for a weekly lesson, discussion, application, and community. Starting, leading, and equipping groups is about % of the Connections Pastor role. Bible Study groups are the number one thing we do at MANUP.
  
  
• Community Events
  The Connections Pastor is responsible for planning, promoting, and leading our 2 annual community events to help men get connected with God and other men. MANUP ATX is a city-wide BBQ and worship gathering for men in the summer, and the LEGACY DINNER is an evening of worship, celebration, and fund-raising in the fall. In addition to leading our ministry-wide events, the Connections Pastor will equip and empower campus leaders to lead localized events for the men of their campus.
  
  
• Weekend Retreats
  The Connections Pastor is responsible for planning, promoting, and leading our 2 annual weekend retreats to help men deepen their relationship with God and other men. MANUP Texas is our 3 day spring intensive that includes worship, teaching, small group discussion, and recreational activities. Our annual Board Retreat in the winter is a time for strategic ministry planning for the year ahead and deeper connection as ministry leaders.

BUILD SYSTEMS AND TEAMS TO EXPAND OUR LOCAL AND GLOBAL REACH.

• Systems
  The Connections Pastor will partner with the MANUP team to build an online system for attendance, new guests, follow-up, and new group inquiries.
  
  
• Teams
  The Connections Pastor will build and develop a team of leaders to oversee our growing number of Bible Study Groups here in Austin (we currently have campuses). Every campus is led by a leadership team that includes a campus leader and table group leaders that oversee 6-8 men per table.
  
  
• Strategic Partnerships
  The Connections Pastor will build strategic partnerships with local churches, ministries, and non-profits to combine our efforts to reach more men.

EQUIP LEADERS TO CONNECT WITH MEN AND START NEW GROUPS.

• Starting Groups
  The Connections Pastor will partner with our team to train and equip leaders to start new Bible study groups here in Austin and around the world.
  
  
• Supporting Groups
  The Connections Pastor will partner with our team to offer ongoing support for our groups here in Austin and around the world through encouraging texts, calls, emails, videos, and in-person support.
