Certified Counselor

Overview

Compassionate Certified Substance Use Counselor needed to assist patients through medically assisted treatments and provide techniques for coping with opioid use. Counselor conducts individual and group sessions, evaluates progress, and collaborates with doctors, nurses, and other counselors to achieve improved outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service hours at scheduled intervals; coordinate all services throughout treatment.
• Complete bio-psychosocial assessment.
• Facilitate, establish, and review initial treatment plan with each patient.
• Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans.
• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.

Qualifications

Salary Range

Salary ranges from $25.27 to $26.27 an hour. The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, specialty and training.
