Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med / Surg RN with Critical Access Hospital experience and night shift availability.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is primarily on the Medical Surgical unit within a Critical Access Hospital setting
  • Supports the Emergency Room as needed
  • Facility is a 26-bed Critical Access Hospital with a busy Emergency Room
  • Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am
  • Travelers may be required to float to different units
  • May serve as charge nurse, particularly on some night shifts
  • Responsibility includes assisting in the Emergency Room as needed
  • No specific charting system experience required
  • No stated limitations for local candidates
  • No return staff policy is specified
  • Requested time off (RTO) will be considered during submission

  • Active RN license in Kansas or Compact state required
  • At least 1 year of Med / Surg nursing experience required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital required
  • Charge nurse experience preferred
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
  • Locals are accepted at the same rate
  • One professional reference required
  • Date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration
