Installation Project Manager Opportunities near Clinton Township, Michigan.

A highly successful Automation company with a facility near Clinton Township, Michigan is seeking several Project Managers for their Large-Scale Installation Projects.

The Project Manager pay rates are anticipated to be hourly based on each candidates experience and education. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours. Candidates will possess most (if not all) of the following :

• 3+ years of experience in automation design – Powertrain, BIW, automation equipment, material handling, conveyors, robotics, etc.
• BS / AAS in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study preferred.
• Proficient in NX or SolidWorks (preferred), other CAD packages are acceptable.
• Requires the ability to Plan, Schedule, Coordinate Schedules, create / track budgets, labor management, status reports, update projects, change orders, closeout.
• 35-40% travel, mostly in Michigan and Ohio, potentially Mexico, passport required; occasional travel to Canada or Mexico based on project needs.
• Willingness to work 50–55 hours / week during peak workloads
• Ability to work directly with project management, guide teams and communicate with customers on technical matters (punch-list & closeout).
• High potential for contract-to-direct hire opportunity.
