Job Details

Responsibilities :

Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.

Create, maintain, and update accurate project schedules and 3-week look ahead.

Follow company policies and procedures and model our company culture.

Maintain a safe work environment, per OSHA standards, and conduct safety meetings on-site.

Recognize and resolve on-site challenges and issues.

Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.

Communicate with project team regarding Drawings, RFIs, and Material Submittals.

Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.

Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.

Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.

Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.

Maintain daily logs of activities on the job site.

Become proficient in, and utilize AutoDesk.

Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.

Walk project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.

Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.

Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors where required.

Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.

Ensure proper signage is posted on-site.

Perform job progress and punch list identification and completion.

Qualifications :

High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)

5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent supervising project teams

Prior experience with commercial tenant improvements and ground-up builds (banking and retail project experience strongly preferred)

A proven track record of successful budgeting, negotiating, and scheduling

Must be able to read and interpret the project design and plans correctly

Working Knowledge of Microsoft Programs, project management software (Autodesk or similar), & scheduling software (MS Project or similar)
