CAD Production Designer

KARDENT is seeking a full-time commercial Interior Designer / CAD Production person with 5 years minimum working on interior commercial (tenant improvement) projects. The Designer / Draftsperson will work directly with our Project Management team. Duties of the Designer / Draftsperson include, but are not limited to :

• Fluent in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe Photoshop
• Conducting Field Measurements
• Prepare Design Concepts utilizing Photoshop and Sketchup
• Strong knowledge of Construction Documents as related to commercial tenant improvement
• Knowledge of City submittal process and coordinating corrections
• Reviewing submittals and RFI’s, with the ability to provide construction support
• Specification of Materials and Lighting
• Relative knowledge of Building and Fire Codes as relates to Egress and ADA
• Communicate professionally with clients and vendors
• Providing coordination with project consultants not limited to; Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural through all stages of the design process with minimum assistance.
• Attention to detail while able to manage multiple tasks at once
