About The Position

• Scrub and circulate experience required
• Call availability : 10 days per month, including one weekend

Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed.

Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in a cancellation.

The shift is 10 hours, Monday through Friday, from 06 : 30 to 17 : 00.

The position requires call responsibility for 10 days per month, including one weekend.

Candidates must have BLS certification and experience in circulating and scrubbing.

A minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience is necessary.

Orientation is 36 hours.

Scrubs will be provided.

The unit operates with 3 rooms serving adults and geriatric patients, ranging in age from the 20s to 90s.

Common cases include aortic and mitral valve surgeries, redo surgeries, CABG, VATS, thoracotomy, and others.

Candidates should be comfortable with various procedures and equipment, including robotic thoracic surgery and IABP insertion / removal.

Floating to other units may occur based on skillsets and patient census.

Travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or exceed 60 hours per week.

Candidates must work 2 of 3 major holidays.

No RTO is allowed during the first week of a traveler's assignment.

Candidates will be subject to compliance checks.

References are preferred but pending references at the time of submission are acceptable.
