We are seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapy Assistant I to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting licensed Physical Therapists in providing treatment to patients with various physical conditions. Your main goal will be to help patients recover from injuries and improve their physical abilities. You will work closely with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and provide feedback to the therapist. Your role will be critical in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The ability to work well with other people.
Able to stimulate and motivate persons with problems in motivational.
Awareness of cultural differences as it pertains to participation in therapy
Ability to demonstrate flexibility, organization, and good judgment.
Ability to receive and follow instructions accurately.
Knowledge of philosophical and ethical considerations in rehabilitation practice.
Hold current CPR and first aid certifications.
Ability to communicate accurate and pertinent information through documentation.
Ability to execute emergency procedures.
Ability to work 8-6 shifts.
Ability to assist clients with transfers and other aspects of mobility as required
Current / valid Driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED
