Job Description
- Leads by example through servant leadership values

- Develops and maintains strong relationships with funders, staff, partners and employers
- Sets strategy for successful operations taking into consideration funder, local area and organizational needs
- Fosters a positive, inclusive and accountable culture
- Establishes a motivational, collaborative, and innovative work environment that fosters excellent customer experience and results
- Provides leadership, financial management oversight, manages staff, and monitors performance management.
- Provide ongoing training and communication to ensure staff are always up to date on new processes and changes.
- Ensures compliance to meet or exceed expectations.
- Maintains relationships with the City of Chicago and partners.
- Responsible for meeting the goals and objectives outlined in the contract.
- Ensures all laws, rules and regulations are followed as outlined by the contract.
- Engages partner organizations to assist guests with needed services both onsite and offsite.
- Manages relationships with hotel(s), food, security and other vendors as appropriate.
- Ensures a positive guest experience.
- Performs quality assurance monitoring.
- Fosters a positive culture.
- Ensures proper practices regarding record keeping, control systems, and reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experienceFive (5) years’ professional experience organizing / developing programs at a management level with two (2) years of senior managementEffective planning, training and supervisory abilitiesAbility to effectively delegate, monitor, and evaluate complex programsPossess excellent human resource and management skillsStrong communication skillsExperience in working in a culturally diverse community settingBilingual preferredIntermediate level MS Office SkillsProof of valid driver's license and liability insurance may be requiredAdditional Information
