Overview : We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Respite Employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential care and support to individuals with special needs, allowing primary caregivers the opportunity to take short breaks and recharge. This position involves the need to travel only in the Colorado Springs area (Northern) and Falcon area to provide respite services to families in need.

Responsibilities :

• Provide direct care and supervision to individuals with special needs in the absence of their primary caregivers.
• Create a supportive and engaging environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of the individuals under care.
• Implement care plans and activities tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
• Foster positive relationships with individuals, families, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care team.
• Ensure the safety and security of individuals during respite care sessions.
• Document and communicate relevant information regarding each respite care session to the appropriate parties.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuity of care and address any emerging concerns.
