Burn Unit RN Job Details Location : Jackson, MS 39216 (Mississippi healthcare jobs) Setting : Acute Care – Med / Tele Burn Unit Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 23, 2026 Duration : 13-week nursing contract Shift : 12-hour night shifts Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Patient Ratio : 1 : 3 (occasionally 1 : 4) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570-$1680 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Mississippi or willing to obtain) Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Tele or acute care nursing experience Burn Unit nursing experience preferred but not required Travel nursing experience is a plus Proficient with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) Required certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS (AHA or APEX) Flu vaccine required (medical exemption with documentation accepted) Must complete fingerprinting process prior to start date Burn Unit RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care in the Med / Tele Burn Unit Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed interventions Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery, and burn treatment processes Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and staff Provide nursing coverage for at least one holiday during the contract assignment Discover rewarding nursing jobs in Jackson, MS—where southern hospitality meets professional opportunity.
