Shipping Scale Operator (Temp-to-Perm)
Location: Kansas City, KS
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (approximately 40 hours/week)
Pay: $14.61/hour, paid weekly

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Scale Operator to join a warehouse team. This role is primarily computer-based and plays a key part in accurately tracking outgoing and incoming shipments. The ideal candidate is bilingual, organized, and comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate the shipping scale to weigh linen carts before they are sent out and when they are received back
• Accurately enter weight data into the computer system (approximately 95% computer work)
• Ensure all weights are correct, as this information is used for client billing
• Stage linen carts after weighing
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff
• Push and move linen carts as needed

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish and English (must be able to read and write in English)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Physically able to push carts weighing approximately 200-300 lbs (on wheels)
• Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred
