GA Foods is seeking a results-driven Regional Healthcare Manager to support growth in the Managed Medicaid channel. This non-traditional sales role focuses on building strong relationships with managed care organizations, case managers, and community agencies. The ideal candidate will have a background in Medicaid / Medicare and a passion for improving health outcomes through nutrition. Regional Healthcare Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Present GA Foods’ products and nutrition-based programs to various audiences :

Managed care organizations

  • Case managers
  • Social workers
  • Physicians, nurses, and dietitians
  • Promote service engagement through compelling presentations and relationship-building strategies.
  • Plan and execute efficient weekly schedules for virtual and in-person meetings, educational events, and drop-ins.
  • Coordinate staff meetings, in-service trainings, and healthcare conferences.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at health plans and referral sources.
  • Define key clients / markets in collaboration with the EVP of Healthcare Partnerships.
  • Educate and support referral sources, including case managers and individuals submitting referrals.
  • Manage and track referrals, including source, volume, and outcomes, in the CRM.
  • Provide monthly reports on referrals, utilization, and key metrics to health plan contacts.
  • Conduct regular outreach :

    • 20–30 daily calls / emails to referral sources

  • Semi-annual distribution of new menus to all referral sources
  • Quarterly in-person or virtual visits / in-services (2–3 per week)
  • Document all client / referral source activities, outreach, and outcomes in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with the Care Center to manage referrals, reauthorizations, and member concerns.
  • Proactively identify issues with referrals, deliveries, or authorizations and escalate internally for resolution.
  • Demonstrate a results-oriented, self-driven mindset focused on strategic execution.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned state.

    • Regional Healthcare Manager Preferred Skills, Degree and Certifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc / BA) in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in healthcare sales, case management, or related areas such as :

    • Managed care

  • Long-term care
  • Home health or home care
  • Hospital or medical equipment sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for developing long-term client relationships.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems.
  • High attention to detail, excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrates commitment to personal growth, continuous learning, and the company mission.
