Job Overview

We are seeking Senior AV Technician with a solid foundation in residential AV installations and a hunger to grow into advanced programming and leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate can independently manage pre-wires, trim-out phases, and rack builds, and is eager to expand programming knowledge. You will work directly in luxury home environments, where professionalism and a polished presence are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently execute structured wiring, pre-wires, trim, and rack builds
  • Read and follow detailed project plans and schematics
  • Support and / or lead small teams on-site depending on experience level
  • Learn and begin programming platforms such as Crestron, Lutron, and Basalt
  • Collaborate with project managers and team leads to ensure project success
  • Represent the company with professionalism in high-end residential settings
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed
  • Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in residential AV or home automation integration
  • Proven ability to work independently on tasks like pre-wires and rack building
  • Experience with systems like Control4, Savant, or similar is welcomed
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn programming and control systems
  • Strong communication skills and client-ready presentation
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior exposure to Crestron, Lutron, or Basalt programming
  • Previous leadership experience or mentoring of junior techs
  • Certifications in AV or home automation platforms
