We're looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our dynamic team and help us expand our market presence.

Position Summary

As a Business Development Executive , you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers who require freight management services. You will play a critical role in building our sales pipeline and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect & Outreach : Research and identify potential shippers and clients through cold calls, emails, , and CRM tools.
  • Lead Qualification : Engage leads in conversation to understand their logistics needs, challenges, and fit for our services.
  • Appointment Setting : Schedule meetings and demos for Vice President of Sales members with qualified prospects.
  • CRM Management : Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and prospect interactions in the CRM system.
  • Market Research : Monitor industry trends and identify potential opportunities for growth in new verticals or regions.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align strategies and ensure a smooth handoff of leads.
  • Performance Metrics : Meet or exceed weekly / monthly KPIs for outreach, qualified leads, and scheduled meetings.

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in sales, specifically in a logistics / brokerage environment
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and handling objections
  • Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Understanding of freight brokerage, 3PL, or transportation industry
