Location : Grand County, Colorado

Company : Maximum Services, Inc.

Compensation : $85,000 – $120,000 annually DOE + company vehicle, 50% paid health insurance, dental, vision, paid vacation, year-end bonus, 401(k)

We are known for delivering high-quality earthwork, utility, and site development projects throughout Grand and Summit Counties. Our team values integrity, hard work, and excellence in execution. We’re currently seeking a hands-on Earthwork Foreman to lead field crews and help drive the successful delivery of our projects.

Position Overview :

The Earthwork Foreman is responsible for supervising a crew of equipment operators and laborers in the safe and efficient execution of grading, excavation, and general site work. This role requires a strong understanding of plans, grade stakes, and heavy equipment operation, along with leadership skills to manage personnel, ensure safety compliance, and maintain productivity on job sites.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Interpret construction plans and survey grade stakes.
  • Supervise and lead a 3–7 person crew on civil construction projects.
  • Operate heavy equipment for grading, excavation, and site prep as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and site-specific safety plans.
  • Track and report daily timecards, equipment usage, and site progress through logs and job photos.
  • Communicate clearly with project managers and field supervisors.
  • Maintain responsibility for assigned company vehicle, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience supervising earthwork or excavation crews.
  • Proficient in reading construction drawings and grade stakes.
  • Solid understanding of excavation, grading, and equipment operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred).
