Who you are...
- A minimum of three years marketing and sales experience or related work experience (preferably in natural or propane gas).
- Bachelor's degree in communications, business administration or a technical degree or related work experience
- You have prospecting, sales, and closing skills .
- You have knowledge of safety codes and maybe building codes.
- You have good communication, sales and negotiation skills.
- You have prospecting skills and ability to present in front of large groups.
- You are detail oriented and very organized with a high level of initiative.
- You have proficient computer skills (i.e. word processing and spreadsheet).
- You have strong time management skill, interpersonal and networking skills.
- You have excellent verbal, written skills and public speaking skills.
- You are able to negotiate contracts.
What you'll be working on...
Work with builders, developers, contractors and our internal sales group to promote the use of Sharp energy's bulk and tank applications. Cold Call and follow up on all Builder Development and Community Gas System Development.Develops and administers cold calling plans related to C&I customers, utilizes CRM platform or some degree of it.Facilitates alternative fuel options in the transportation sector with Sales Manager. C&I rep with schedule appointments with potential end users for autogas and infrastructure.Timely implementation of contracted service agreements through initiation of workflow action and clear communication with appropriate Company personnel and departments.Accurately represent Company credibility to service accounts through effective communication skills used in relating accurate information on the economic status of the company and industry as well as the cost-effectiveness of gas use versus electricity.Meets with commercial customers regularly and maintains relationships, reviews all individual customer contracts.Contribute to effort in increasing Company profitability through obtaining new commercial construction projects. Attends and represents the Company in associations and industry related events.Primary contact for larger C&I wholesale customers. Must be able to effectively communicate the Company's services and offerings to the customers.Support the office staff by assisting in the completion of price, service, and contract scenarios.Develop and maintain knowledge pertinent to the application and installation of material, equipment and labor necessary to install gas fuel lines, gas service lines, equipment and venting systems (e.g. FPUC Tariff, FPSC Rules and Regulations, NFPA 54, etc.).Benefits / what's in it for you?
