Salary : $175,000 - $195,000 + bonus dependent on experience
Location : New York (Hybrid, 3 days per week in office)

To support our service delivery team, Smartstream is looking for a consistently successful Account Manager. The Account Manager will have sales and account management responsibility for Smartstream's most strategic clients. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining close alliances with senior client management personnel, offering recommendations through formal sales presentations and written proposals, and working with the cross functional team to negotiate and close product and solution-based engagements. You will be held accountable to grow and maintain a large revenue stream.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and execute territory / account sales plans for the given territory and then meet and exceed sales goals (targets) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities within the assigned Named Accounts.
- Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline.
- Manage and track customer and transactional information in Salesforce®.
- Provide your management with accurate forecast of the activity in your territory.
- Coordinate resources throughout the sales cycle, including sales specialists, product support and sales engineering.
- Coordinate initial product demonstrations and general support to prospective customers.
- Nurture and expand the company's relationship with customer accounts of all sizes.
- Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through Salesforce®.
- Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.
- Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers and support staff.
- Participate in team-building and company-growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and customer care.
- Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts.
- Other duties as assigned.
