Responsibilities
Assist the Front Office Manager with maintaining standards of guest service quality, and keeps staff informed of new policies and proceduresAssist with initial training of new night audit employees and ongoing performance checks and support to all night audit staffHandle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and in a friendly and professional mannerAccommodate all guest requests in an accurate and efficient mannerRespond promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if guest demand cannot be metDocument any guest accidents by completing the accident report formAccurately conduct all cash handling and credit card processing activitiesAccurately, audit, balance and report on all cash and credit transactions including checks, deposits, house charges, promotional materials, postings etc. in the hotel in accordance with established policies and proceduresMaintain all areas of the front deskCover other areas of hotel as neededOther duties as assignedQualifications
High School diploma / GED requiredPrevious Supervisory experience in hospitality preferredCustomer service experience requiredExperience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math conceptsAttention to detail and organizedSMI Hotel Group recruits the best and brightest, in order to deliver the highest quality service to our guests.
