Engineering Manager

Our client is a manufacturer of specialty engineering materials used in multiple different industries. They currently seek an Engineering Manager for their plant in Toledo, OH. The ideal candidate should enjoy being out in the plant and getting involved in the technical aspects of the process. This person should be a strong leader that enjoys developing their team and mentoring young engineers.

The Engineering Manager will manage the maintenance department, manage capital project spending and manage capital projects, and manage the Safety / PSM program for the plant.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage the maintenance department, including assigning, directing, and evaluating the work of the Maintenance Dept.
• Assure all KPI's are met consistently and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
• Ensure maintenance employees are trained, understand / stay engaged in all plant safety systems, processes, and initiatives.
• Manage maintenance repairs, employee workload, work order system, & spare parts inventory.
• Actively maintain equipment performance statistics including mean time between failures and creating, managing, and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance plans.
• Engage PMC-2000 as the tool for assisting the management of the maintenance / preventative maintenance program.
• Maintain Mechanical Integrity program.
