Lunchroom / Kitchen / Recess Assistant

Global Village Academy is an innovative charter school. Students learn core content through language immersion in their choice of French, Spanish, Mandarin, or Russian (depending on the school). Essential Duties :

• Supervises students' arrival at lunch room.
• Supervises student line while students wait to get lunch.
• Supervises students while they eat lunch, helps students when called upon.
• Helps keep students focus on eating and good behavior / manners in a safe environment.
• Washes tables and wipes ups spills.
• Works with other lunch assistants.
• Supervises students' departure from the lunch room.
• Helps with clean up in between each lunch.
• Helps with trash removal.
• Supervises recess to ensure students are behaving in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Helps with safety awareness and injury prevention.
• Aides students in solving conflict on the playground.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
