Job Title : Accounting Manager

Location : Short Hills, NJ, 07078

Salary / Payrate :  $130K-150K, bonus is 0-30% with a target of 15%, 20 PTO days+!!!

Work Environment :  3 days / week on-site. Possible commute to Branchville until the corporate office is moved to Short Hills NJ in 2026.

Term : Permanent / Fulltime

JOB DESCRIPTION #LI-GP1

This position manages the general ledger activities and financial reporting. Directs the activity of staff in maintaining books of accounts, as well as preparing standard reports and statements. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Note : (For NJ candidates) This role will be located at the future headquarters in Short Hills, N.J. Until the new headquarters is operational, the successful candidate will be offered the ability to work in the Branchville, N.J. location during this interim period.

Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting functions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and statistics.
• Oversee and schedule activities of financial close.
• Analyze and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
• Prepare various schedules for outside auditors.
• Assist in the development of reports to be used in analysis and presentation of financial data to senior management.
• Assist in reviews of financial statements.
• Coordinate accounting schedules and activities.
• Manage and train accounting staff.
• Ensure company compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP), and government regulations. Assist as needed on SOX 404 documentation and controls
