Position Summary
The Biological Sciences (BioSci) Program is seeking 1-2 fixed term faculty members to join the BioSci teaching team. The successful candidate will be part of a diverse group dedicated to providing high-quality undergraduate biology education. The initial appointment is for one academic year (9 months), with renewal possible based on performance. Salaries typically range from $61,000 to $75,000 depending on rank and experience.
The candidate will serve as an instructor for introductory biology courses, engaging students in three-dimensional learning. Teaching responsibilities may include cellular and molecular or organismal biology courses, with a typical load of four lab sections or one lecture and two lab sections per semester. BioSci values teamwork in curriculum development and teaching, offering opportunities for advancement after 4 years of exemplary performance.

Required Degree
Doctorate in Biological Sciences or related field.
Minimum Requirements
Desired Qualifications
Preference for candidates with experience teaching inquiry-based cell and molecular labs, curriculum development, supervising teaching assistants, supporting diverse learners, and programmatic assessment. Candidates with expertise in curricula that support student success are encouraged to apply.
