Job Responsibilities

  • Develop relay settings and protection philosophy for substations
  • Review panel design, wiring, and testing procedures
  • Analyze protection and control design drawings
  • Troubleshoot and field test substation SCADA panels
  • Design communication-related drawings for SCADA systems

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related engineering disciplines
  • Experience in SCADA system design, preferably in the renewable energy industry
  • Proficiency with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, DNP3.0, Ethernet / IP, and SEL Fast Messaging
  • Demonstrated experience with networking devices and communication configuration
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship experience in a related field
  • Familiarity with ASPEN software
  • Experience configuring and testing Beckwith, Calisto, and other MPT monitoring devices
  • Experience with RTAC and Orion RTU testing and programming
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
