About The Position

• Strong Ortho experience

Description :

Must work 2 of the 3 main holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

Travelers will float as needed.

Charting experience with Epic EMR is required.

Candidates should have strong experience in Med-Surg and Ortho.

The facility features 641 licensed beds.

It is designated as a Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

Advanced specialty programs are offered, including cardiac care, stroke, and vascular services.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

Staff will float only to qualified areas with documented competencies.

All staff must adhere to floating requirements when needed due to patient census concerns.

Patients in this unit are primarily adults.

A daily census of approximately 26 patients is typical.

The unit operates with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 6 : 1 during all shifts.
