Travel Nursing Job Details

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Assignment

Healthcare Setting : Operating Room (OR) – Surgery

Assignment Type : Travel Contract

Start Date : January 5, 2026

End Date : April 4, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 6 : 30am – 5 : 00pm

Shift : 10-hour days, 4 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2,250 - $2,310 per week

Holiday Coverage : Must be available to work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve)

Local Restrictions : No local candidates within 50 miles

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Georgia or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Ability to work assigned holiday shifts

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment

Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition during surgery

Accurately document all aspects of patient care and surgical procedures

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
