Description - Your Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct routine as well as advanced laboratory tests in various disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering strictly to established protocols.
• Evaluate results meticulously for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform essential maintenance and calibration on laboratory apparatus.
• Support specimen collection efforts and diligently prepare samples for testing, when necessary.
• Keep meticulous documentation of all procedures, contribute to the training of new staff or students, and champion lab quality assurance standards.
• Promote a clean and safe workplace and consistently follow regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health certification, paired with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Qualifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be earned within one year of employment.
• Maintain active certification status throughout the duration of your employment.
