Job description

Essential Duties :

  • Running food, placing food in front of guests.
  • Clearing tables, stocking and contributing to the overall success of the team through service support.
  • Resetting tables (placing runners, napkins and silverware on tables).
  • Passion and willingness to serve and provide every guest with a memorable and long-lasting experience.
  • Adhere to the policies of Chanta and uphold them as a role model to your teammates.
  • Ability to work independently while still contributing to the overall goals of the team.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with other team members to foster a harmonious and cooperative work environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of station throughout the entire shift.
  • Maintain safety standards at all times.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
  • Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Must maintain a professional demeanor and well-groomed appearance at all times.
  • Must be available late nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work with your hands, stand, bend and lift for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform the following : carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50v pounds, moving about the restaurant, handling food, plates, trays, glasses etc, bending, stooping and kneeling
  • Able to work within a team environment to coordinate a one of a kind dining experience with upbeat, outgoing and positive energy.
  • Accountability, professionalism and a high level of conscientiousness regarding the guest experience.
