Associate Director, Global Events Program
We're looking for an Associate Director to lead GEP's global events program. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set strategy while also managing the details that make events successful. You'll oversee our most important client- and prospect-facing moments from our annual summit to trade shows and regional programs working closely with colleagues across marketing, sales, business development and client services.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Strategy & Planning : Develop overarching events program, and implement the strategy for each event, including theme, positioning, team resourcing, activities, and budget. Ensure events support our marketing, sales, and lead generation goals.
- Execution & Logistics : Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of our events, including our client summit, trade shows, conferences, and webinars. Manage vendor relationships, budgets, reporting, and on-site activities.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration : Lead the GEP events team, and coordinate with regional marketing leaders to deliver a unified global program. Partner with leaders in sales, business development, and client services to ensure alignment and follow-up before, during, and after each event.
- Marketing Integration : Own the events calendar, ensuring promotions and initiatives are integrated with digital, social, and content campaigns. Track performance, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
- Leadership Contribution : Serve as part of GEP's marketing leadership team, contributing to the overall strategy, growth, and direction of the company's marketing efforts.
What You Should Bring
7+ years of marketing and events experience, ideally in B2B, SaaS, or professional services.Strong track record building and executing successful event strategies.Excellent project management skills, with attention to detail and deadlines.Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate across functions, and manage vendors.Clear communicator who can balance creative ideas with data-driven decision making.Salary Range : $140,000 $160,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Additional Compensation : Eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to individual and company performance.
