Shop Technician

Thomasville, GA | $16.64 / Hour

We are looking for an Shop Technician to join the team at a local company. This role involves working with metal components, operating shop equipment, and assisting in multiple stages of the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be safety focused, quality driven, and eager to cross train in various skill sets.

Responsibilities

• Read a tape measure, run a hand sander, use a scraper, and inspect work to make sure the metal has been deburred correctly.
• Produce work in accordance with industry standards.
• Cross-train in various construction skill sets and uses skills in multiple stages of the manufacturing process.
• Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications and ensure the quality of products or work.
• Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to move materials, parts, and equipment within the shop or warehouse.
• Follow established safety and security rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work area and environment.

Requirements

Location : Thomasville, Georgia

Pay Rate : $16.64 / Hour

Schedule : Monday – Friday 7 : 00 AM – 5 : 45 PM
