Responsibilities & Duties
Conduct diagnostic medical sonographic exams including cardiac, general and vascular ultrasounds.Prepare and maintain sonographic equipmentProduce high-quality images for interpretation by physiciansMaintain a clean and organized work environmentCommunicate effectively with patients, physicians, and coworkersFollow established protocols and maintain patient confidentialitySonographer Qualifications & Skills
Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)Experience in multiple ultrasound specialtiesStrong technical skills with ultrasound equipmentExcellent communication skillsEmpathy and strong patient care abilitiesAbility to work independentlyContinuing education in the field of diagnostic medical sonographyAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related fieldValid certification and licensure as required by stateProficiency with ultrasound technology and imaging techniquesKnowledge of human anatomy and physiologyBasic life support (BLS) certificationStrong attention to detailAbility to follow precise protocolsGood physical stamina for handling equipment and assisting patientsThis is a remote position.
