Description : Job Summary :
This position is responsible for pulling and packaging of jobs, primarily for small pulls that could interfere with the monthly packing. This position also helps in expediting larger pulls by packaging small items, fabricating, building kits to expedite the larger pulls and building spanners for monthly pulls. Sometimes the position is responsible for packaging jobs independently.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Check OJR for all small jobs scheduled to ship that day
- Gather all GTR’s and packing slips for daily shipments
- Gather all signage and materials needed to ship for that day
- QCI all signage before packaging
- Package in the most efficient way to ensure no damage to signage
- Work independently on pull jobs
- Prep and fabrication including taping signage, packing and pulling
- Notify Coordinator or Line Leader of any issues pertaining to jobs
- Check with Coordinator or Line Leader for other assigned tasks
- Responsible for all NM's, kitting for clients, small monthlies, runs OJR and makes daily task list
- All other duties as requested, including supporting other departments

Education and Experience :
High School diploma, GED or equivalentExperience with order pulling or assembling pieced goods is desirable, but not requiredQualifications, Skills, Abilities and Competencies :
Detail-orientatedAbility to understand and follow instructions with minimal supervisionProficient verbal and written communication skillsAdhere to company procedures and standardsProficient math skillsAbility to pass a basic skills testWork scheduled mandatory weekends and overtimeRequired to lift a minimum of 50 lbsWork well on a team and contribute positively to GSP culturePhysical demands :
Standing : Standing for entire assigned shiftLifting : Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (Includes upward pulling) of up to 50 lbsCarrying : Transporting an object, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulderReaching : Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.Feeling : Ability to identify texture of material such as if lamination has been applied and being able to distinguish different gauges of material thicknessTalking : Verbal communication including giving instruction and exchanging information with necessary detail and deliveryHearing : Communication including listening to people convey instructions or conversation, and distinguishing noises from machines and within the plant
