Maintains a safe and healthy work environment for employees by providing proper safety guards, personal protective

equipment, safety training, enforcement of safety rules and regulations, and maintaining good housekeeping.

Coordinates planning, manufacturing procedures and operations across all shift lines to accomplish objectives in

accordance with production scheduled, available manpower, skills and manufacturing capabilities.

Maintains uninterrupted production, flow of materials (FIFO), product quality and quantity within the limitations of

established manufacturing costs and budget allocations.

Utilizes documented quality systems, including action to prevent the occurrence of product non-conformity.

Responsibility includes an understanding of quality standards as they apply to areas of responsibility and authority to

implement the standards in those areas.

Ensures that verification activities, including inspection, test and monitoring of the production and installation process

and / or product are occurring and adequate resources are provided for verification activities.

Ensures that production processes are carried out under controlled conditions which include, 1). Insuring that documented

work instructions defining the manner of production are in place where the absence of such instruction would adversely

affect quality. 2). That suitable production equipment is used. 3). That the working environment is suitable. 4). That all

standards, laws and quality plans are complied with.

Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment. Schedules and maintains employee requests for time off and employee attendance records. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Recommends measures to improve production methods and equipment performance. Analyzes and resolves problems with product material, equipment, and manpower. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to maximize efficiency. Maintains necessary production records. Estimates, requisitions and inspects materials. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of specific products. Participates, demonstrates and encourages team environment. Travel required on a moderate basis to Company, vendor and customer facilities
