Job Information

Summary : The purpose of the One to One Observer is to provide personal constant observation of a patient. He / She will also communicate with and support healthcare team, patients and / or patient's family or significant other(s). They will also maintain and demonstrate high standards of professional ethics.

Position Responsibilities :

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient's status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required : Must have strong communication skills.

Required Education : High School diploma or GED.

Training / Certifications / Licensure : Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Hourly Rate : $16.47 - $18.83 The actual salary / rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
