About The Position

Job Title : CT / X-ray Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Shift : Day 4x9.5-Hour

Hours per Shift : 07 : 00 - 16 : 30

Experience : Minimum 2 years, with 1 year each of CT and X-ray

License : RT (R) (CT)

Certifications : AHA BLS

Must-Have :

• Dual modality experience in CT / X-ray
• Siemens CT / DI equipment experience
• C-Arm, routine radiology exams experience
• Preferred knowledge of Siemens Drive 256 slice dual source / dual energy CT Scanner
• Pediatric experience preferred

Description :

This position requires a flexible traveler based on unit needs.

The traveler will work on the following schedule :

12 / 1 - 12 / 13 : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 07 : 00 to 16 : 30.

12 / 14 - 1 / 17 : Wednesday to Tuesday nights, 7 on, 7 off.

1 / 18 - end of contract : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 07 : 00 to 16 : 30.

Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract.

Specified blackout periods for RTO are applicable.

Candidate must be able to work independently in a multi-modality capacity.

The role may involve working in the operating room using a C-Arm as well as performing routine radiology exams.

C-Arm and head / chest / extremities skills are required from the X-ray skills checklist.

Experience with pediatric patients is preferred but not required.

This role is located in a Level 3 trauma regional facility and requires weekend shifts.

On-call duties are required every fifth or sixth weekend, depending on staffing.
