Position Overview : The Special Assistant to the President for State Governmental Relations ensures the University of Idaho is represented in all aspects of state governmental relations and supports federal governmental relations. Duties may include :
Required Experience : Two years of experience in government relations, public policy, lobbying, political campaigns, legislative work, or higher education administration
Required Education : Bachelors degree
Required Other :
Additional Preferred : Four years experience in legislative, lobbying or governmental affairs; Significant experience with and / or at the University of Idaho, higher education or other state agency
Degree Requirement : Listed degree qualification is required at time of application
