Busy Phillipsburg Family Practice / Urgent Care looking for experienced CMA or LPN. This is a salaried, full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Applicants must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays. Duties include 80% direct patient care, and 20% administrative work. Prior supervisory experience is required . The successful applicant must be responsible, self-motivated, and a team player. They must demonstrate an ability to interact with others in a courteous and professional manner.

Supervisory responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Ensuring adequate staffing by establishing staff schedules
• Supporting the professional development of CMA staff through training, evaluations, coaching, and disciplining employees
• Overseeing patient care to ensure quality
• Maintaining practice compliance with regulatory agencies including OSHA, CLIA and X-ray
• Inventory management and ordering clinical supplies, and ensuring that medical equipment is in good working order
• Assisting in establishment and enforcement of practice policies
• Working collaboratively with Front Desk Supervisor and clinical staff to ensure excellent customer service
• Attending management meetings
• Assisting with special projects as assigned by CMA Team Lead and / or Medical Director

Patient Care Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Rooming patients
• Obtaining vital signs and medical history
• Performing diagnostic tests
• Assisting clinicians with procedures

Salary commensurate with experience.
