Key Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and manage complex neurological conditions using patient history, exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Conduct thorough physical and neurological examinations for patients with neurological disorders.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate results from neuroimaging, lab, and diagnostic studies (e.g., MRI, spinal fluid tests).
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient progress.
- Prescribe and manage appropriate medications and therapies.
- Counsel patients and families on neurological conditions, treatment options, and long-term care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications :
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)Board Certified or Board Eligible in NeurologyAccredited Neurology Residency (ABPN Accreditation Required)Active New York State Medical LicenseDEA and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription authorityExperience in Urgent Care or Emergency Department preferredBilingual (English / Spanish) a plus, but not requiredWhat We Offer :
