The Renovo Center is an integrative mental health counseling center that provides services using evidence based, root cause focused modalities such as brain-based, EMDR, expressive therapies, somatic therapies, functional nutrition, and ear acupuncture to improve the quality of living for our community.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mental Health Therapist / Psychotherapist / Master 's level intern located in Charles Town, WV. In this role, you will provide individual and family therapy sessions to clients. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate and confidential records, coordinating with other healthcare professionals and community resources, and engaging in continued education to stay updated on best practices in the mental health field.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Social Work and Mental Health practices
• Skills in Family Therapy and counseling
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in counseling or social work in West Virginia
• Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain a client-centered focus
• Experience working with diverse populations and ages is a plus
