Cottage Inn by the Sea is looking for a General Maintenance Engineer to join our team! The General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance needs of the property.
Core functions of the position, but are not limited to the following;
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Carpentry and screening.
• Interior and exterior painting.
• Changing locks, installing smoke alarms.
• Pool maintenance.
• Maintain shop and tools in clean, orderly and safe condition.
• Periodically clean gutters, drain water heaters.
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
