Schedule: Full-time/Part-time

Job Summary: The Child Psychiatrist provides child psychiatric and consultative care for patients using our integrated care model which is designed to address complex health and social challenges in a Patient-Centered Medical Home model.

Responsibilities:

·The Child Psychiatrist treats mental, emotional, and behavioral issues in children.

·Reporting to the Director of Behavioral Health.

·Meet with patients to assess their illnesses, problems, or limitations.

·Diagnose and manage affective, thought, personality, developmental, and anxiety disorders.

Requirements:

·MD or DO and completion of psychiatry residency training program and two years of specialized training in child and adolescent psychiatry required.

·New Graduates can also apply.

·Must be licensed in the State of CT.

·Oral and written fluency in English required; Spanish highly desired.

·Experience in ambulatory or outpatient integrated care settings is highly desirable.

·Familiarity with electronic health record systems is essential.

·Experience with Epic preferred.
