JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title : Nocturnist
Job Type : Permanent (Full-Time)
Location : Mountain Home, AR
Service Setting : Inpatient / Hospitalist Program
Clinical Shift Schedule : 7 on / 7 off (night shifts)
ICU : Open ICU with 24 / 7 Virtual ICU Coverage
Team Size : 9 Physicians, 4 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 Scribes

FACILITY INFORMATION

ICU : Open model with virtual ICU support

Collaboration : Strong working relationship with specialists and Emergency Medicine physicians

EMR System : Not specified

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required : Yes

Credentialing Timeline : TBD

Salary : Competitive, based on experience and schedule

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)

Certifications : Board Certified / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience

Experience : Prior nocturnist or hospitalist experience preferred

Other Qualifications : - Strong communication and teamwork abilities - Comfort managing patients in an open ICU setting

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide inpatient nocturnal hospitalist coverage

Manage patient admissions, cross-cover issues, and collaborate with on-call specialists

Work closely with APPs and scribes during night shifts

Ensure continuity of care and accurate documentation

Participate in quality improvement and hospitalist team initiatives
