Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for prepping fiberglass

  • Responsible for assembly of duct work

  • Involvement in the construction of pre-fab materials

  • Must have strong attention to detail

  • Must be able to perform tasks under time pressure deadlines

  • Inspects all areas of the product ensuring up to quality standards

  • Must be able to keep area clean and orderly

  • May be assigned to work in other areas when needed

  • Must be able to work independently and with other employees, and without supervision.

  • Must be dependable, arrive to work on time and display a positive attitude

Qualifications:

  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to read and interpret tape measure.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Physical Capabilities:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

  • The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.

  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

  • Physical activities of standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders.

  • Walking and lifting of weights of 50 pounds or more are required in daily performance of job.

  • Use of upper extremities required for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, pulling and material handling.

  • Use of torso and lower extremities required for kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting and squatting.

Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.

  • The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.

  • The noise level in the work environment can sometimes be very loud.
