Responsibilities
Process and manage property claim settlements
Handle the disbursement of settlement funds accurately and timely manner
Draft and manage client correspondence related to settlements
Maintain communication with clients regarding their settlement status
Collaborate with attorneys and other staff members to ensure smooth settlement processes
Assist with other financial and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or as an accounting assistant (required)
Experience in a law firm setting is a plus, but not required
Ability to manage a full-time position
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
Associate's Degree or some college (preferred)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
