Job Responsibilities
Provides leadership, management, planning, scheduling, and coordination of instruction for students in teaching college courses in Commercial Art, participate in curriculum and instructional material development, assessment functions to include program learning outcomes & student learning outcomes, student advisement responsibilities, enrollment & registration, student recruitment & retention activities, participate in college outreach activities, college committees, and community service. Participate in departmental, division, & college planning sessions in actively reaching & communicating the college's mission & goals, & professional development activities.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master’s degree in teaching discipline; Master’s degree in Fine Arts or related field preferred. Demonstrated work experience and competence in advertising, desktop publishing or commercial art with page layout, illustration, and image manipulation software emphasis preferred.
