SUMMARY :
As a Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) Crisis Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate support to youth (ages 2-20) and their families facing crises. Responding to calls made to the crisis hotline, you will collaborate with a fellow team member to offer face-to-face assistance—either in person or via video conferencing—within one hour to help stabilize families. Following the initial 72-hour intervention, ongoing support and care coordination will be provided for up to six weeks by the MRSS team. Various shifts are available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Rapid response to family-identified crises within one hour.
- Engage with youth and families to de-escalate crises and assess risks.
- Facilitate necessary hospitalizations for clients.
- Conduct Crisis Assessments and CANS to develop safety and MRSS plans.
- Manage a limited caseload during the ongoing stabilization period of up to six weeks.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation, adhering to all licensing and accreditation standards.
- Safeguard client confidentiality, handling all information according to HIPAA and agency guidelines.
OTHER DUTIES :
Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and continuous training.Maintain all required trainings, certifications, and licensure as per relevant regulations.Exhibit high standards of professionalism and ethics, following agency policies.Engage in any other duties as assigned by management.QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.Licensure : LSW, LMFT, or LPC required; LISW, IMFT, or LPCC preferred.Skills : Ability to connect with diverse populations and work effectively with individuals from various backgrounds;demonstrated initiative and independent judgment in job responsibilities.
