Job description

Areas of opportunity include Inpatient Acute Care, Medical Surgical Inpatient Care and Intensive Care Unit.

Must be comfortable on patient care floor; must be considerate in relating to the needs of patients and visitors; must have successfully completed the hospital orientation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

DUTIES :

  • Visit patients with our activity cart and offer complimentary items!

Books, coloring items, fidget toys, decks of cards, etc.

  • Spend time visiting with them and bringing some joy to their day!
  • Help with additional items when in room as needed :

    • Fill ice water

  • Offer WOW items (chapstick, tissues, magazines, etc.)
  • Tidy Up Room if Patient needs things organized
  • Water Flowers if needed
  • Make sure phone / call light is within reach

    • 2 shifts available :

  • Select Weekdays and Weekends : 10 : 00 to 14 : 00 CST
  • Select Weekdays and Weekends : 18 : 00 to 20 : 30 CST
