A Day in the Life of a Tax Associate:

As a Tax Associate with H&R Block, you'll benefit from comprehensive support and expert training that will equip you for success. You will enjoy flexibility and the potential for extra earnings, allowing you to balance your personal and professional life.

• Conduct thorough tax interviews with clients in person and through virtual communication tools such as video calls, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare accurate and complete tax returns for clients.
• Drive business growth by enhancing client retention and offering additional services.
• Provide necessary IRS support to clients whenever needed.
• Collaborate with your team to achieve office goals and priorities.
• Continue to grow your expertise in tax preparation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is ideal.
• Customer service or retail experience is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
• Availability to work 25-35 hours a week throughout tax season, with the possibility of up to 40 hours during peak weeks.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course.
• Experience in high-traffic environments.
• Comfort with various virtual communication tools.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Compliance with all IRS and applicable state regulations.
• High school diploma or higher.
