Nestl Purina PetCare Company seeks multiple Senior Specialist Strategic Sourcing in St. Louis MO. Duties : Responsible for indirect purchasing of material supplies including parts, equipment and services including soliciting bid proposals and reviewing requisitions while ensuring highest quality merchandise at lowest possible price. Responsible to prepare and send out bid events (RFP's) and request for information (RFI's) in support of required construction services. Collect information to commercially evaluate and prequalify suppliers (based on price, quality and service, and availability as well as supplier reputation) in alignment with Nestl Vendor Qualification Process (Services and Indirect Material). Conducting bids, summarizing, and participating in award scenarios. Evaluate performance and provide feedback relative to contractual obligations. Stay current on industry news through review of latest industry publications and attend key trade shows and conventions. Review and negotiate contracts as necessary including administering contracts for certain services. Maintain standards surrounding any new policies or procedures to be followed as part of the procurement of goods and services process. Support introduction of strategies developed by other Nestle sourcing teams to NPPC and provide feedback, as necessary. Communicate bid award recommendations internally and externally in accordance with procurement standards, laws and regulations while ensuring key KPIs are achieved. Requirements : Job requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Engineering or a related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a sourcing role in a global organization. Required experience must include each of the following : + 3 years of experience working with multiple factories; + 3 years of experience negotiating and assembling supply agreements; + 3 years of experience supporting construction sourcing bid events; + 3 years of experience working in a Procurement Business Partner structure; + 3 years of experience in supplier relationship management; + 2 years of experience with Ariba (eSourcing); + 1 year of experience conducting eAuctions.
