Job Description :
- Responsibilities include providing patient medical care to all age groups in an office-based setting, delivering diagnostic and therapeutic medical services, and making sound medical assessments and treatment plans.
- Outpatient setting
- 36 clinical hours + 4 administrative hours (working schedule TBD by practice to include some on call and rotating Saturday shifts) :
Disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
Treatment of acute illnessesTreatment of acute injuriesPrescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygieneRequests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessaryFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expectedProvides direction to both clinical and reception support staffProper and complete medical documentation (without copy / paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy (above 80% with goal of 95%) of E / M coding and closing / sign off after review of all patient charts in accordance with company policies Failure to meet this essential job function can affect the eligibility for productivity / PCN (percent net collection) bonusesApproximately 20-25 patients per dayProper and complete medical documentation (without copy / paste) for all patient care in order to assure accuracy of HCC coding.
